I received this concerning e-mail today, which prompted me to reach out to the public at large today and ask you, where is the outrage and citizen energy to take back our Freedom of Speech. We are about 6 weeks away from Spring and we must Rally and take the challenge to give the public back their voice on Kingston Public Access Channel 23. I urge everyone today to take the "Pledge" to Celebrate OUR effort by returning Channel 23 to the people. During the next month we will keep you updated regarding fundraisers and meetings. Please send your responses to my BLOG so we can work together to accomplish our MISSION.

E-Mail--Where is Public Access TV? Kingston Public Access TV, IS NOW under lock and key. YOUR VOICE! Under lock and key, YOUR VOICE!! Kept in a storage unit. It's safe! And I can't believe........ NOBODY WANTS TO RALLY FOR YOUR VOICE!!! To get Kingston Public Access TV back on the air.

A funding request for KAPA (local channel 23; Public Access Television) was turned in to the City Council towards the end of 08 - and this is scheduled to be brought back up at the next City Finance committee meeting. Come show your support - at the Common Council meeting and/or Finance Committee meeting - for KAPA!

When is the Common Council Meeting?? We need channel 23.
The Kingston Common Council meeting is tommorrow night, 7:30PM at Kingston City Hall (the ad in today's "Daily Freeman" said 7PM, but I called the clerk, and the meeting IS at 7:30PM...
The open speaking session sign=up and public speaking opportunity has always been (since I've been going) at 7:30 PM.
