Speaking about Public Access—for someone who believes that Kingston Chronicles was the most watched show on Channel 23, why didn’t Richard Cahill attend the KAPA hosted fundraiser last Saturday evening? If he has appointed himself the attendance marshall for all community events, then he should check himself off as “absent” at a fundraiser HE should have attended as a producer. He didn't waste any time to crucify Mayor Sottile for not attending an annual church dinner when the self-proclaimed number one show producer is MIA, what is his beef?

I hope the KAPA Commission will level the playing field with the hour shows.

I thought this blog went into hyper-hibernation mode or something. Let me second, third, and on and on ad infinitum to the first poster’s remarks about the pretentious twit with all his self-proclaimed righteous tripe. That unscientific poll he refers to is stuck in some groove that only someone with his warped sense of self-importance perceives as truth and it’s rather ironic that the big shot advocate for free speech didn’t attend. Methinks he only cares about his own personal freedom of speech and could care less about anyone else’s although he gives lip service to the rights of others. I just find him to be a pompous ass with little respect for the opinions of people he disagrees with--from politicians in his own party, to those in the opposing parties and even people who take the time to write a comprehensive informative report to his site unless it happens to be some gossipy trash talk. His behavior is not always befitting of an officer of the court in my opinion.

Could not agree with you more. And that is only the half of it
(4:49 PM) ..It's all about "him" and notice how he always has to have the last word about everything. If you only knew how much more there is to tell about the "twit" not being fit to be an officer of the court..Stay tuned.

I am so disappointed Rich Cahill in your Leadership qualities. Attack, Attack, Attack. Did you ever think for one minute that Mayor Sottile just lost his father in January 2009. It takes a considerable amount of time to get over the loss of a parent. Why don't you steer your energy and offer the citizens of Kingston something they can look forward to. You lack this ability because you do not have the PR skills to become a distinguished LEADER and never will.

8:06 AM sent the same post to Cahill on Kingston/Politics or whatever his site is called; it was edited to fit both and the déjà vu points are well taken twice. I sent something to him also under the name of A. Burr (as a burr in his side and as the one who dueled and shot A. Hamilton) so it was in part a rebuttal to “a friend of A. Hamilton” who is some fictitious pseudo-historical poster-figure who is legendary in his own mind we can safely assume and who also posts to the Cahillbilly blog. I can’t wait for 12:30 PM’s other remarks about the pretentious little twit, or little Dicky as some call him. Your show, “People for People” is missed because Jean, you have a heart of gold and the grace and intelligence of a pretty cool talk show host—too bad you didn’t go into the field professionally. Do you ever return emails?

Cahill posted on his blog that he was out of town, but will send a donation.

The producers were well aware of the fund raiser weeks in advance so do not hold any hope that the twit will dig in his pocket for a donation to be forthcoming any time soon. I'd want an audit of the books to confirm that he actually made a donation. Being the self-proclaimed number one show on Public Access and all (in his mind), the very least to show enthusiasm, support and hope that Channel 23 will thrive again, buy a pair of tickets and give them to two of your best friends if you knew you were going to be out of town (conveniently). Oh, that's right. He doesn't have any--friends that is.
