SHAMROCK RUN A FAMILY AFFAIR

The day was next to perfect and the Annual Shamrock Run and Parade was a celebration to remember. I must extend KUDOS to Mr. Robert Ryan and TEAM for organizing a race that went off without a problem. This takes stellar leadership and dedication to our community. For many years I have always run the race with my four children Robin, Daniel, Jared and Jessica but today I ran solo. I was number 3147 when I registered today at 11:30 AM. I was so impressed with our youth and their energy at the race today. Many of the area schools had teams that ran in the race. Edson Elementary School and Miller Middle School won trophies. The gentleman that won the trip to Ireland had number 3145 and my number was just two numbers higher. Oh well there is always next year and the thrill of the day will remain with me for many weeks to come. See you all at the Annual Classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a long time fan of yours Jean and would hope that you consider running for Mayor in 2011. You are a shinning star and have always and forever been an advocate and a voice for the people. Honesty is your MOTTO. You have my VOTE

We have a question Ms. Jacobs: Durng your day at the Shamrock Race did you see any members of the City Republican Party looking for candidates to run in the November 2009 election? This would have been a perfect day to recruit candidates and mingle with the Citizens of Kingston. Can you report back on this question? We look forward to hearing from you.

Come on Rich! We all know you didn't run in the race. You went home for lunch to get a number from someone so you could cover your tracks to support all that bull you put on your baloney blog. No one saw you and you never left the house.

I can end the drama. I saw him. He was wearing navy blue shorts and one of the shirts the Hibernians were giving out.

I was on the corner of West O'Reilly and Broadway. I've known Rich (or Rick as I call him) for 30 years. He grew up down the street from me.

His parents and wife were near that intersection waving to him.

I also saw you Ms. Jacobs. You were wearing brown ankle length pants. You came along some time after Rick did, but I thought you were doing very well too.
